Drill pusher and roustabout setting up the rig. Notice the pusher's hard hat. These type of hard hats are now not allowed on rigs because they are aluminum but in  the past all 'big shots' on the rig wore these type of hard hats.
Foam drilling the Mitchell #1. Air drilling was used instead of mud drilling but they added foam to the air mix to help with hole conditions and to help bring the cuttings to surface. The white foam was like shaving cream. It is being dumped to the pit while drilling.
